Back from W7 R2, longer runs seem to be getting slightly more routine (I won't say easier)! Still mentally tough for first 10 minutes or so and my legs always feel ridiculous when I start to run, (kind of like I've never run before - cant quite explain it) but once I get going they're ok.
Was blooming hot 5mins in - misjudged weather - and proud of myself for whipping my jacket off without stopping!!
My reward for completing the run today - a nice hot bubble bath and no toddler trying to climb in to join me!

Well done - I've just done W7 R2 also and I totally agree with you - they're not getting easier, are mentally tough (I find the first 5 mins the worst) and like you I feel ridiculous when I start to run but seem to settle into a pace (eventually!). It's reassuring to hear that I'm not alone in this!
I did find R2 a little easier than R1 as I think that I was more mentally prepared for it and less tired.
Completely agree about running being mental especially the first 5/10 mins. Did week 7 run 2 today. After about 15mins I thought I'll never manage another 10 mins but somehow I did. And you did too. Well done. Only two weeks to graduate. We can do it.
