My wk9run3 run was my fastest ever and it felt great to finish the programme on a high!! Just over two months ago I downloaded the podcasts and just got out there, without thinking too much about it, and I have to say that this has been the highlight of the year for me (possibly much longer!).
I realise now that I didn't properly introduce myself when I joined the forum. I'm Lex, 32, part-time working mum of two girls under 4. I wouldn't have said I was very unfit before I started the programme, or very overweight, but I wasn't doing anywhere near enough exercise and wanted to do something a) cheap, or cheaper than a gym membership, b) not too time-consuming so I could find the time around work/kids, and c) achievable! This programme has fit the bill perfectly and the great side effect is half a stone weight loss (also down to eating more healthily, and eating less) which has contributed to an even more important side effect: confidence!!
So hopefully I can keep this up and keep challenging myself. Also hoping this feeling of elation will spill over to tomorrow when I have my driving test...
To anyone just starting the programme, keep it up and you will not regret it, not one bit

Well done Lex. Sounds like this programme has worked really well for you and I think it's great that it has had a positive influence in your confidence. Take that self belief with you tomorrow and I will be sending positive vibes! Good luck.
Well done! It's great to see such positive posts, I'm feeling the same myself. So pleased I decided to try this plan, and wish I'd found it years ago. Cannot believe how fuss-free and convenient it's been as a way of building fitness.Perfect. Hope all goes well for your driving test!
Congratulations, Lex. You did it. Your growing confidence has been obvious from your posts and i hope you can carry it into the rest of your life. The mental and psychological benefits of starting to run are often overlooked but are as potent as the physical ones, to my mind.
Good luck with driving test, keep us posted. You know you can do anything, now.
