5km - 25:40 - Slightly faster than steady pace

Hi all!

Feeling good this evening. My HM programme had me run 5km this evening and it was meant to be at a steady pace. Whenever I have run a steady pace before it is about halfway between an easy pace (about 30 mins) and my current PB, so currently that would be about 26:30. I set my Garmin to pace me for this time but I felt that I could comfortably run at a faster pace so I did.

A good way to monitor my progress is to check my current heart rate to where I was a month ago and I can see that my heart rate is lower now than it was before at similar speeds.

Parkrun next and I will see if I can beat last weeks 23:26 PB.
