Week 3 Run 1 - so disappointed.

Feel so disappointed and anoyed with myself. Completed both the 90s runs and the first 3 min run, but just couldn't manage the final 3 min run, dropped out to a walk just at the 2 min point, tried to start again but didn't complete it. I just hope i can managed better with my next run.

Don't beat yourself up about it - you were out there and running more than you did last time! Just repeat the run again in a day's time and I bet you'll be astounded at how much easier it is :)

Hi,

If you find it hard you can almost always run more slowly. I know that when I was doing the course I seemed to have only two speeds, on and off. Now that the pressure's off I find I can run much more slowly when I need to.

Try to slow down so that you don't run out of steam, even if you feel that you're crawling.

As the others have said, I'm sure you'll be fine next time. Keep at it! Even though you don't feel the run was a success it's still an awful lot better than most of the population could do!

I found W3 hard and I did slow down to make sure I could continue to the end, it really helped and I do believe slow running still counts!
