They've been achy since my run the other day so I'm having 2 days rest instead. I know after doing star jumps on the 30 day shred they felt dodgy.( I don't like star jumps or lunges, but I did try!)
Not really certain could be a combination of things. Anyway being wise and will start bridge210k podcast tomorrow. Weird thing but wonderful, is looking down and seeing no pudgy belly, miss it in a way, no, no I dont!!! running is brilliant for toning up, wish I'd realised that the past few years instead of doing loads of crunches etc.
Happy running

Ha ha, I read your tags and they sound weird... You belly star! however, I am glad it's not just me who simply can't do all those star jumps on the 30 day shred! I was wondering if it is a simple thing like trying for weeks to run evenly and gently keeping knees landing smoothly, that we just can't do this sideways 'shock treatment' to our knees! I had boasted about how good my legs had been after getting fabby shoes and completing the programme... Now any attempt to star jump makes them hurt like hell! Maybe they are just not a good thing for runners? Wonder if we are alone in this - the rest of the shred thingy is quite do-able for me and makes a nice 'rest day' change of activity!
Hi Linda, no I don't think star jumps are good for us! Next time I do the 'shred' I will leave them out and jog on the spot or something! ha ha, usually edit tags, but they are funny Will carry on with my 'shredding' and see, quite loyal to 'Davina' dvds tbh, but as you say change is good.
