Ladies, when you stop for a 'comfort break' when running in a pine forest, make sure you check for wood ant nests before dropping your drawers! Those blighters sure do bite!
Apart from this one incident during today's run, I enjoyed another long slow run with my sweetie along on his bike, as my Chief Support Person, ie Sherpa, photographer and navigator! I know several of you said you'd like a CSP too, and I do appreciate how lucky I am to have him! At one point he said "You want me in front of you, alongside you and behind you - all at the same time. It's hard work!" but bless him, he didn't grumble any more than this.
I shall remember your advice if I'm ever 'caught short'. I also have a CSP, my son, he sometimes follows me on his bike and then rides ahead and opens gates for me so I don't have to stop. Every runner should get one.
Love the photos thank you for sharing. It looks as if you are about to do a swan dive onto the beach. You must be very fit because the trail looks quite hilly in parts. Hubby doing a good job too
