I'm still amazed that I managed to complete week 5 run 2 as I never thought I could run 8 mins non stop x 2 (tho some of it is down hill, lol!) I finished my route really early because of it, so cheekily used the 5 min warm-up walk music on the next podcast (run 3) to jog back to my house!
Now I've got the mental challenge of that run 3 20 minute run. Wondering if I should repeat run 2 first? Let's just say it was hard going at times, tho I kept going somehow!
Plus when I started my walk, i noticed a bit of sciatica; I jogged lightly and the pain eased. My back is still sore at times, but not at all worse. It was sore before I ran.
On another subject, I've gained 5.5lbs in a month. NOT supposed to happen...!!!!
Thanks for feedback folks - you're all a great support on here!

Wonderful news, Kreesh. Isn't it a great feeling when you do what you'd never believed possible?? One mental success I've had when I feel my back getting a little sore about 3/4 of the way through a run is I imagine my blood is all flowing to that place and helping the muscles relax and feel nice. Often times it works, which makes me think it is mental tension from fatigue. Maybe that will help? It can't hurt you, anyway. Best wishes for a glorious completion to Week 5. It IS a challenging week for sure, but you can do it!
Thank you for your positive words and advice! That sounds like a great idea. I will give it a try if my back gives me jip! I should be trying run 3 tomorrow, but it is currently pouring rain up here in bonnie Scotland! We shall see!
