Week 5 run 1

Felt really rubbish when i left the house, I was ill with flu 2 weeks ago so had to redo week 4 and felt like I wasn't improving at all. But i feel great completing tonights run. I still struggle in the middle and have to really push myself, but for me the last 5 minutes is always the easiest. Think my endorphins are finally starting to kick in and was on a real high on my cool down walk. Bring on run 2

You did the right thing though by not pushing too hard while you were ill. I always struggle for the first 12 - 15 minutes of any run, and then my body and brain seem to give in and realise that we are out so they might as well get on with it :D Have a great second run this week - enjoy!
