Ran for 15 minutes on treadmill but still have lower leg pain

After seeing sports physio yesterday morning for right leg shin/calf pain he suggested I try running on treadmill again after 2 weeks off (been doing low impact exercise classes). Anyone else suffer with this and how long did it take to heal?
