Does this new site support spellcheck?

I'm sure I've seen a post from someone to the effect that the new site supports spellcheck, which would be a truly helpful development. But I can't find it. Am I imagining this? Does anyone know? If it does support spellcheck, where is it?

My PC runs on Windows 7 and when I compose a post it highlights the incorrect spelling as I type the same way as Word does. Not seen spellcheck here.

Hmm, interesting. Mine uses Windows 7 too but I haven't noticed that. Perhaps I've not been looking hard enough! I'll try again.

Hi Ned, spell checking would be a function of your browser rather than the site.

Thanks, although it doesn't seem to be happening in Firefox. I'm not about to switch browser so I guess I just have to do it the old-fashioned way (or learn to type better!)

You need to add to firefox. ctrl + shift + a will take you to the add ons screen, use the search box in the top right hand corner and type British dictionary. should take you to addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fi...

Ive jsut typed a plie of rubish and its underlined all the typos for mee PS so it works

Hi oldned it was probably my post you saw a few years ago we were using Firefox and because I am dyslexic my grandson put google chrome on for me and its been wonderful for me, but as Crox said its the browser, it's all too technical for me . I am still out running. Pat
