I must say this blog has kept me going for 5 weeks and more importantly the 20 mins this morning. Every time I go out for a run I think about what my heading and contents is going to be on my blog. And during the run whenever that park bench looks ever so inviting, this blog keeps me going.
The 20mins with no break was a tuff one. I felt every second of those last 2 minutes. I did 3 and half laps around the park track (was hoping for 4 atleast). On the bright side I out ran 2 other park runners in terms of time

Wow - well done you! Sounds like you are doing brilliantly. I'll be attempting this one on Saturday. It is such an encouragement to hear about others achieving each step.
I start on week 5 tomorrow. Sounds like it is a big shift up! I expect it will be tough but then we all know it is going to be really. You outran some other runners too so you are doing really well! Good Luck for week 6. You can do it!
I just did w5r3 myself, so high five! I was filled with trepidation, as I had been dreading it since I first heard about it a few weeks ago and because I found w5r2 one of the hardest so far, but it went ok.
The first five minutes and the last five were probably the hardest for me. And when Laura said I could stop I could barely believe I had done it.
