First post-grad run and first run without Laura

I did my first post-grad run on Tuesday and it was the first time I've run without Laura. I missed her! But did not miss the music, so... swings and roundabouts

I used my own playlist which I really enjoyed, and I'm using Endomondo, so I still had a vague idea of time and distance, as the Endomondo lady kept chipping in when I completed each km and told me what time it was.

I might have to use jog.fm to create a better paced playlist, because although I loved listening to my own music, some of the songs were way too fast for me to run to (The Pretender by Foo Fighters is WAY quicker than I am!) so I ended up getting in a bit of a tangle with my pace at certain points.

Still only managed just over 4k in half an hour, but for the first time I felt like I could have carried on for a while, so I've mapped out a 5k route for tomorrow's run, and I'll see how that goes.

Definitely don't think I'm ready for Stepping Stones yet so I'll do another couple of weeks at my own pace before I attempt the next podcasts!

Well done. It is freeing, isn't it? My musica not quite tight either but its so nice having music I like!

It really is. Although I do miss having a little voice say 'you're doing really well' (even when I'm not!). Congrats on graduating - such a good feeling
