Well we completed run 3 of week 7 this evening. The run went okay although I think I actually found it easier in the heat on Weds evening, which is a bit strange. After the run I didn't get the usual buzz, maybe I'm just knackered from a busy week and not much sleep last night? Any thoughts?
We changed our route through the park again this evening which helped with the routine and managed to keep to our usual pace. I forgot to take my GPS with us so measured the distance online and it came in at about 3.2 to 3.3km, but not as accurate as the GPS which measured 3.4k on weds, so we ran about the same distance. We both managed a burst of speed tonight although I didn't seem to have as much left in the tank as I did on Weds.
So week 7 is now complete, on with week 8, and an additional 3 mins I think. This should be doable, although my reserves for the last minute may well be spent by the end! Looking forward to the next 6 runs and edging nearer to 30 mins, graduation, getting my badge and treating myself to a C25K graduate running top, sad eh?!?
