Well, I did it. Can't claim to have done it in style! I abandoned my farmer's field and the long grass for the road. I did 3.5 k in my 30 mins which was a little further for me! There was quite a little early morning community feel on the lanes this morning. Even got some words of encouragement from a very nice young man on a bike! Slurp....
I plotted out a 5 k circular route which seems to take in every hill in Essex (I didn't realise Essex was so mountainous till 9weeks ago!). I think next time I will do in in the other direction so the hills up form my warm up and down walks...though it feels a bit like cheating!!
