I was so high after finishing W5R3, but then found W6R1 a real struggle, which I wasn't expecting. Set out on W6R2 this morning with some trepidation but found the 2x10 mins fairly easy. Having never done any running before I started C25k, I really cannot believe I have got this far, and that I can do it!
W6R2 - needn't have worried!: I was so high... - Couch to 5K
W6R2 - needn't have worried!
Every now and then we get a blip in our running for no apparent reason. I still have bad days when nothing seems to come together well. But I am now confident that the next run is likely to be fine. I have also come to understand that a bad run - is better than no run
Hooray for C25k- it really did get me off the couch and is keeping me of it.
best of luck with your remaining runs
I'm glad to hear your feedback on your experience of WK6 R1 & 2. I also struggled with R1 and hoping that R2 will be as rewarding as you have found. Thanks for the encouragement.
I have week 6 run 2 this evening and am glad to hear that you found it ok.
I thought after doing week 5 run 3 that week 6 would be really easy, but i also really struggled week 6 run 1 and have been dreading week 6 run 2.
Fingers crossed I can do it.
Runningdiva and Nemi - you can do it! Somehow, it's just so much easier than the one before.
Suzy - thanks for the encouragement, and for a wonderful line to remember ('a bad run is better than no run'). Great advice.
