Hi everyone, I managed to complete week 2 run 3 but injured my knee. Its actually just below my right knee cap but to the left.. I don't know what I have done but its still quite painful so I am unable to run at the moment. I am totally gutted about this
When my knee is healed will I need to start again?

I had the same problem, got as far as you then hurt my right knee. Foolishly, I kept running on it and made it worse! It took 3 weeks to heal properly, so I started back at wk 1, (but I'm 58 and out of condition), you might feel ok to start back where you left off. I'm just about to start wk 6 (after a 2wk battle with wk5 run 3!!!) and my knee has been fine. I remember feeling gutted too, I was really enjoying the challenge, but I'm glad now that I waited till it was properly better. Hope yours wont take as long as mine did to heal, you are obviously being more sensible than I was!!!
About 4 weeks for me too. I tripped at work and cracked my knee, however because it didn't hurt at the time I ran on it in the evening and it was slightly sore (wed).... I then ran on it on the Friday and was a bit hobbley on the Saturday, then ran on the Sunday and couldn't walk on the Monday... result.... super high levels of codeine, paracetamol and an anti-inflammatory... I didn't run for 4 weeks after that... I'd see a doctor before running again as like NaughtyNanna and I we just ended up making our knees worse by running.... just about to attempt Week 5 run 3... again... grrr... xx
