Yesterday I blogged about my W5R3 run and thinking about it now, I was in a pretty negative mindset yesterday. I blogged about how I was expecting to feel this huge sense of accomplishment at the end of the run and when I didn't really feel anything I was disappointed.
Thinking about it today though, I realize that you just can't plan those wonderful moments where you feel on top of the world they just happen and you can't force it. I also worried that I was going so slow that maybe I wasn't even truly jogging. Don't know what was with me yesterday. I definitely was not walking even if I was going at a snails pace, lol.
Well today I have a brighter outlook and I ran for 20mins yesterday! (I know I jogged it because my body can sure feel it today). A month ago that would have been impossible. I guess for some reason it's hard to believe I can actually do this, it's surreal.

The funny thing is I can relate to your post as I blogged yesterday about worrying about not being able to do my W5R2 today and thinking it was all going to go pear shaped but I did it and somehow dont feel as elated as I thought I would! I know its because I have a lot of other things on my mind at the moment though and so dont feel like I can totally focus properly on my running until after tomorrow. Maybe you had other things on your mind too but at least you have realised on reflection that YES you did do it! keep up with the good work and Im sure you will have many more "Wow" moments!
Thanks for the reply. Everyone talks about how wonderful it is when they reach this milestone and I thought I was the only one who didn't have that experience. Good to know I'm not alone. I guess the beauty of the "wow" moments is that they often come when they're not expected.
