I'm amazed at the strength and stamina you guys and girls are finding at the end of this long challenge. My respect goes to each and every one of you, well done I do hope you reach your target of 20,000K :)

We did it Liz, WE DID IT!!! :)

I dont know where the energy has come from either, I did a 12k run today, my furthest distance.... :O Others are achieving new PBs all over the place! We are all doing an amazing job today and its that team spirit for sure!

Thank you so much for your support, we really appreciate it!

I honestly don't know, it's a little spooky, but I think the team spirit has a massive part to play.

When I was walking, I was thinking about how, when I started this, it was mostly with the thought of getting fitter, but now, I'm mostly doing it just because I enjoy it.

I've realised that I actually like being active :O , and by mixing things up, I can do far more in a day than I'd imagined. I'm beginning to understand why people play sports - I don't think I did really before! :) I also begin to understand the appeal of team sports. I like exercising on my own, because I'm slow etc and I prefer just competing against myself, but having a team to encourage you on does make a huge difference.

It also helps enormously to have the time to do it in - I'd find it much harder if I had a job that took up more hours, or if my children were still young.

My daughter has just told me that tomorrow I will be 'stuck in one position and unable to move' - I hope she's wrong! :)

I've really enjoyed this challenge and I'm liking the exercise itself more than I did before. I'm still not quick but I am improving and I think that's partly because I've got more used to pushing on when tired.

I had planned a bit of a rest tomorrow but now I'm hoping that cycling home after my 7mile race will have stopped everything from seizing up and I'll be able to run or cycle in the evening !

Another one here who prefers exercising on my own but yes this team spirit has been so infectious - loved every minute!

It's funny that, I commented on someone's blog a couple of days ago that it's inspired me to take up team sports again (I used to be good at netball at school - only in positions that didn't run much though, haha!)

Part of my doing it is the huge motivation from the team. I am to run an organized 5K later, but in the comfort of my bed, I started reading all the PB's etc. Going on today. Made me feel like a lazy butt! :-) so I was off and out the door to do a 5K warm-up before the other

Very best wishes for the organised 5k. Doing two in one day, with hot weather too, is impressive. How's the weather doing?

Weather cooperated other then very hot! We have had tornadoes the past few nights. Scary! I'm tired tonight after 2 separate 5K's. Even more so then when I run a solid 10K!
