I woke up this morning full of cold and generally just feeling wiped out. I was planning on W8R2 tomorrow but not sure I can manage it now. Already starting to slip as needing extra rest days due to hurting knees.
Scared if I rest up too much I will never get back out there!

I felt the same when I had a cold, I had to take 3 runs off and hated it! I have since been off about 3 weeks with an injury and that had very little effect on my fitness. Take the time you need and you will be sure to enjoy it when you get back to it.
