I'm only half way through week 4, but the last few weeks went so fast , going to ask this now! What have people done on graduation? Are people going it alone with own (better) music or downloading something to get them through ?

Keep on running ;-)

I graduated a couple of weeks ago. Haven't done 5k as yet so I am working on my stamina and speed...whilst listening to MUCH better music!

I graduated at Easter and I have been using the speed, stamina and stepping stones podcasts. I've also been running to my own music to complete 5k. I like the variety.

I've entered a 5 mile race so I'm working on that. I'm using RunKeeper and listening to my own music. I came up with my training plan myself- it's very simple, I just add 10% to my distance each week. No time targets, I'm just aiming to be able to run the whole thing without stopping! You can programme your own plan into RunKeeper or you can choose one that's on there. There are loads of similar apps.

I'm also going to my local Parkrun once a week, it's great fun and the experienced runners give you loads of good tips.

I also Graduated Easter and I've just done my own thing since. I use Zombie Run for entertainment combined with my own music playlist. I'm running for an hour (10-11k ish) 3 times a week at the moment, I have pushed myself to longer runs (1hr 20mins) but they were too long for me, I could feel my right hip starting to give, so as per the very good advice I was given on here, I listened to my body and have governed myself to 1 hour at the moment.

:)

I know you might be worried about structure once the nine weeks are up, but don't worry too much, graduation is the start of your running journey, I graduated last August and you find new challenges.

There are so many choices, you may decide to do a few runs after graduation just for the fun of running and as a friend said to me, to get miles into your new running legs. You might decide to work on speed or distance, but ones things for sure, it sounds like your hooked, so you will definitely find your next challenge :-)

Oh nearly forgot, Parkruns are also very accessible and friendly. ENJOY
