Asthma component peak flow

I managed to blow 400 that's with both inhalers quite impressed with that as never blown 400 before usual 300-350

Hi Emily. Sorry, I can't help you with this. I have no idea about this. I'm teachable though. What is this device called? I'm glad you got better results now though. Keep it up. Terri

As I have asthma as well nurse said I should check my peak flow it's a tube to see how much you blow out of your lungs...I am only usually able to blow out 300 350 so as far as asthma goes doing great

Super! What is it called & do you need a prescription from the doctor? It may help with my asthma too. How often do you use it?

Peak flow machine yes dr and I do once a week

You can buy a peak flow meter at any chemist or on Amazon. Cost about £12 they help let you know how you breath out air through the bronchi and helps the dr understand the degree of obstruction you have.Used mainly for asthma but my dr uses it for copd as well. I have one at home too. I keep diary for dr. Hooe that helps
