Ask your GP for Nystatin (or similar) which will get rid of the thrush.

I’m not sure if you are doing this, and assuming that your inhaler contains steroid, but it is very important to rinse your mouth out well after using the inhaler. I rinse and spit out a minimum of 3 times and usually clean my teeth afterwards as well.

If I feel a sore patch on my tongue, say, I’ll use oral Daktarin to get on top of it before it gets a hold.

Yes, definitely reverse your present routine. The corsodyl will help your general mouth hygiene, but won’t get rid of oral thrush.

What you need to do is get rid of the steroid that is in your mouth and throat from the inhaling - which is fine in your airways, but which gives an environment for thrush to grow in your mouth, which is pretty painful as I’m sure you know.

But I suspect the thrush you have at present won’t go away without treatment, so a trip to the GP would help out. Good luck!

My ENT prescribed Clotrimazole 10mg trache for ten days ,5 trache a day.i developed thrush from inhalers also. Now I rinse mouth after each use.
