Lung Surgery is on Hold

After visiting my consultant ideas told that I needed major lung surgery as my right lung is in a really bad state.

This was going to be a problem as I was told years ago by the army physician that I am allergic to general anesthetic.

On seeing the Surgeon I explained to him about this and I was told that if this was the case I would not be able to have the operation has they have to put you to sleep to do it.

I was sent to see the Anesthetist to have checks done as the Surgeon wanted to proceed with the operation ASAP.

The test revealed that I was slow in coming around after operations. Hr informs me that I am eligible to have the operation but it will not now be done for another 6 month's this is because my blood pressure is through the roof & I am still not clear from a chest infection.

I have to be clear from Chest Infection's for 4 months & my blood pressure has to be stable for at least 4/5 months.

Not the best news but life has to go on.
