Bloody diarrhea black clots

I started 6/1 With very very bloody diarrhea, lasted 2 days old blood it appeared to be.. now have thick stool with blood and is hard to clean myself because it just sticks to me. Have Dr appointment today, but I'm weak feeling, lower back pain and inner thighs hurt... My Daddy passed away in 09' from GIST and I worry about that. I'm also an only child that is full time caregiver to my 75yr old Mom.

Thank you for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. I hate to hear you're experiencing these symptoms. I am glad to see you’re going to the doctor today. Please focus on telling your doctor all the symptoms you’re experiencing. The weak feeling that is happening and the pain definitely needs a good answer.

I am sorry to hear about your father, but please be sure to mention that your father passed away from GIST. That is good information for your doctor to have. You may need to get a colonoscopy and an endoscopy. GIST is known to begin in the stomach or the small intestine and therefore an endoscopy may be warranted. But just the fact that GIST has been in your family is information the doctor needs to know.

I do wish you well with your doctor appointment today. I hope you get on a path to being well very soon. Please let us know what you find out. Type of information that can be helpful to others on this site.

Thank you so much, this so stressful and aggravating, but I will get through it .On the Dr side of things I am waiting on a call from her to see what she wants done... I feel these symptoms are a priority, but my office seems in no hurry... But she is a good Dr so I'm waiting for her call.
