Why more blood tests are stool sample

My mother has not been keeping well recently she became very depressed, she asked for a blood test to see if she was needing iron as she was so tired and pale and lethargic. It came back positive for anemia but the doctor wasn't concerned too much as it wasn't off the scale. The doctor has now booked my mum in for new bloods and a stool sample then she booked her an appointment for the following week for her so she good go over the results with my mum. Do I have anything to worry about here, I have an awful feeling in my gut something's not right, the waiting is making me anxious. Any suggestions please? , Thanks.

She’s most likely feeling tired because of the lack of iron in her body, but if you still feel that there’s something wrong then I say follow your gut, because no one knows your mother as much as you do.
