I had problems in 1994 but unfortunately it was not diagnosed as colon cancer until 1995 as there was not as much known about the symptoms back then

Yes I had trouble some time before I got the diagnosis.

I had a lot of pain , irritable bowel !

I was diagnosed in September 2012 but had symptoms since December 2011 and was been treated for IBS it was stage 3 by then

Diagnosed five months after my 60th birthday, luckily it was early stages, most of my rectum has been removed and I am waiting to have my ileostomy reversed, so am hoping that my colon remembers what to do!
