Not quit sure what your asking. But you keep on doing whatever your doing now I live and do what I'm capable of if I cant do something I usually find away around it. I dont think of it and how I'm going to live. I live the way I always have being told I have cmt does not change anything yes I walk more carefully as I'm getting older etc. But that's with anyone I believe. Live life to the fullest.

its got as ive got older, im now 44, and to be honest didnt really have any issues until around 4 years ago. since then my legs and feet have got alot worse but you just have to find a way to live with it. my mum had type 4 and went from being pretty able bodied to a wheelchair in about 15 months...i thank my lucky stars i have 1a...i just keep my chin up and have tried to learn how to adapt

I was diagnosed with CMT at the age of 11 and by the way lost my vision at the age of 12. I live according to what my mother instilled in me. She taught me to never let my disabilities get in the way of living life to the fullest. Today at 53 I can say it is challenging more than when I was younger. I looked at every obstacle as an opportunity or challenge to overcome. I have never allowed myself to let my disability to define me in any way. You just have to do the best you can with what you have
