Stretching tips (Toes/Feet)

Hi - looking for any good tips/ exercises for keeping a level of flexibility / strength in feet. Any good routines people used would be great. I'm a sporty (cycling, swimming, hiking), 36 year old male. I have 1A, high arches, inverted champagne bottle leg shape. I suffer with common ball of foot issues, ankle weakness etc.

Hi, I am pretty old (66) and never been able to do sports or exercise due to a Metabolic Myopathy which is genetic. I also have all the advanced classic symptoms of CMT, awaiting tests etc. When I am sitting in the evening I use an electronic recliner and while sitting I stretch my legs, ankles and toes all the time, rotating my toes round, it seems to help to relax them and keeps them mobile. Other than that I am probably of no help to you, bar maybe a foot massage machine. Hope this helps. X

My brother has very big feet as well as hammer toes and deformity due to an accident. After we purchased so many shoes but didn't lose pain, finally I found orthofeet and it was perfect in any way.

I suffered from hammer toe and diabetes for the last 10 years. And I thought never walk again like normal people, then I heard about orthofeet and I got a new life.

As you say you are sporty, how do you find your level of fitness? Does it increase at the expected rate of someone your age with your level of exercise?

I have a lot of problems with my legs and feet, toes! My toes curl my feet try turning sideways, my Legs get really tight and they hurt all the time.

I found that walking, which Can be very painful really helps me. Walking warms up the muscles and after I walk I stretch. On YouTube I found really good stretch video then I will turn on and I’ll stretch with the lady on there, I don’t get on the floor, I do the standing and sitting stretches they really really help my muscles, it also helps with my arthritis!

I’m 62 years old, I do try to get in 10,000 steps a day I don’t always make it but I try it keeps me moving. I probably have to laydown two-three times a day… LOL sometimes I take power nap, it’s all exhausting but we gotta to do the best we can do with what we have right 🌷

I hope you feel well today… Find yourself a nice little walking video on YouTube if you’re not able to go outside I have several walking tapes that I do, they do help! And make sure you drink lots and lots of water!! When I walk outside I do use a walker I don’t want to end up laying down in the road somewhere and not able to get up 🤪
