Nearest I can do for you is Christchurch...not far as the Pollard swims I suppose...but not on the island...mind you...I can see the island most days when we go for a walk...I'll give you a wave (that's almost a joke)

Silly me...I neglected to notice that you meant Isle of Man...I thought you were from the Isle of Wight...so, I wonder if I can blame CMT for my natural stupidity? Do you think I might get away with it?

Sorry for the late response but ive just seen your reply.

I have type 1a, I was diagnosed around 8 years ago now, my daughter hasn't been tested but my 11 year old granddaughter has and also has type 1a, so I guess my daughter must have it as it cant skip a generation (i don't think)

As its a small island and we don't have any support groups, please let me know if you ever want to meet for a coffee and chat.
