I was diagnosed with a regular blood test at age 67 by my internist (the physician I've been seeing for 25 years on a yearly basis). After a year of watch and worry my lymph nodes and spleen were rapidly gaining in size and becoming uncomfortable. I was prescribed ibrutinib therapy, and it has worked quite well for me for 4 years. My white counts are in normal range for the last year. While I don't really trust my immune system to protect me from covid, I have gotten two Moderna vaccines, and have recently been tested and found to have spike protein antibodies. My partner and I are being quite careful about covid exposure at the present time (April 2021).

Hi jimvan,-
That is a wonderful and uplifting report. Just about as good as possible for those of us that need treatment at some point in our CLL journey. And realistic for dealing with COVID-19.
