I am on ibrutinib for 2 months for Waldenstrum macroglobulinemia

I have both CLL and Waldenstroms (fleas and ticks). I have been on ibrutinib for 15 months now. At the beginning, my hemoglobin was down to 4.8 and I was needing weekly blood transfusions. It took a few months for the ibrutinib to fully take effect, but for the last 9 months my blood work has been in the normal range and I can function fine.

They tell me that brutinib probably won't cure it, but as long as it contains it and I can function, I am good. Be positive.
