When my illness was ramping up after more than 7 years of W&W, I started to get very interested in what I could find online, mostly here at Health Unlocked and the CLL Society, and what my doctors had previously advised.
It seemed very apparent that I needed a real CLL specialist.
By February 2018 I had submitted all the data I had available to your Expert Access program and completed a teleconference with a well-known specialist.
Amazing! My meeting clarified much of my own research and misleading information provided by two well meaning doctors.
Interestingly, the expert suggested that based on the data, I could probably “last” a year before treatment but it was inevitable. Guess what…………... I cratered about one year later.
I cannot express how impressed I was with this experience bearing in mind, at that time, massive confusion was kicking in.
Anyway, thanks to you and the specialists for providing the Expert Access program for those of us that reside in the US.
