Good morning,
I am still awaiting my letter and as I am seeing my consultant through Bupa I initially had that same thought plan.
But I do know that after every consultant visit my GP is sent a letter ( I receive a copy ) disclosing my consultants findings which I hope are added to my NHS file ? 🤞🏼
Regards
Dave
I haven't had one but l spoke to my GP yesterday about another health issue
When l mentioned l hadn't had a letter she immediately agreed that l should definitely have one and was going to e mail the letter but as yet not received it?she said not to leave the house at all and made sure l had someone to collect my prescription seems like a lot of us are being missed out when my granddaughter went to collect my Px the pharmacy had closed early 4 30 instead of 6 30
Strange times
It seems that a letter is not an automatic right and we were misled by many especially the blood charities.
Some of us may never get a shielding letter as our CLL has not presented the requirement for additional medications or intervention over the years.
Me, no letter probably because my last antibiotics episode was prescribed in March 2017 and have only seen the GP twice since then on minor matters.
Lucky and so glad to be able to walk each day. A different matter if I had to work with others!
Take care and take a daily temperature.
I have been treated via BUPA since the begining some 10 years ago and have received both the letter and daily texts?
Your consultant should be keeping your GP updated
