High Risk Shielding Letter

Hi not sure if anyone in the same situation but I haven’t had a letter (apparently should have by 30th) I emailed my GP surgery and they said it comes from NHS.

I have CLL and on watch and wait. I have been self isolating since the 18th March. Plus living like we are in a block of flats as my hubby and son are still having to go to work. They are so concerned that they will bring something home to me.

I need this letter to send a copy to my work place. They are aware what I have but even so I want to be able to supply this confirmation.

Not sure what else to do?

Hi hope your holding up , why don't you ring your gps and explain that you need a note or letter confirming you have a blood cancer I'm sure the gp will help with this and you then just send it to your employer, I have not had a text or letter I work in the NHS I just sent a letter I had from the hospital consultant to my GP which I was cc in . Ring up today and explain to the receptionist , let us know how you get on

I have a copy of a consultant to GP letter stating that I have CLL in my purse wallet.

The reason being where shops offer early opening for the vulnerable, if questioned I can show them that.

Went to M&S early hour but not questioned! Perhaps I was looking old that day!

Also a tip for when normal life returns and you go abroad. Take a copy of the consultant’s letter should you need medical help.
