Husband has been on Imbruvica less then a year and ended up in the hospital last week with Atrial flutter and racing heart rate. He was taken off the Imbruvica 11 days ago as they determined that was the cause and his lymph nodes have enlarged quite a bit since then. Go to the Doctor on the 12th to see what to do next. It seems like he always has a chest cold that never goes away.

Atrial flutter and racing heart
Sorry to hear this. My lymph nodes also swell quickly if I stop ibrutinib. Maybe your husband can be switched to acalabrutinib (Calquence). It may not have the afib effect he is having with ibrutinib.
My doc discovered my atrial fibrillation during a routine physical and referred me to a cardiologist who was unfamiliar with Imbruvica and the afib side effects. I also had poorly managed hypertension on losartan so she added Cartia. She wanted to put me on Eloquis but my oncologist said no due to my chronic low platelets (130 ish). I have been off Imbruvica for over a month and my oncologist is following me with monthly exams and flow cytometry for a CLL relapse. I am on no CLL medication for the time being. He says the afib will clear up after the Imbruvica is completely out of my system. I have just finished a 30 day heart monitor and will have a stress test, ultrasound and follow up with the cardiologist later this month. I have not noticed any lymph node swelling. My oncologist recommended ventoclax (sp) in the event of relapse. My BP is gradually getting better.
Best wishes!
