Hi,

With ASH looming, it’s about time I finish up my reporting from ASCO 2019, the other huge American cancer meeting, that is traditionally more focused on solid tumors. Still there was several very good CLL abstracts.

I will be counting down my top 10 through December starting now with this one, #10, that may feel pretty real for many of us.

•#10 is Cognitive function in CLL/ Examining effects of disease, treatment, and inflammation (cllsociety.org/2019/11/asco....

•CLL changes the immune pathways for its own benefit and to our detriment. However, that does suggest that immune therapies targeting those changes may be helpful. For more on this technical subject from one of my top ten CLL abstracts from ASCO 2019, read and watch here: cllsociety.org/2019/11/asco...

•I am often asked to share the patient’s perspective. Here is one recent example: cllsociety.org/about-us/cll...

Leave at 4 AM for ASH tomorrow and have dozens of interviews lined up including some surprises.

Very excited to be presenting our own research: An Innovative Telemedicine Platform to Provide Expert Access to Patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) ash.confex.com/ash/2019/web....

This is about our expert access program that provides free second opinions to US based CLL patients in need. We are open now if we can help.

Plus I am speaking at several symposia. It’s gonna be crazy great, so won't be very active here on on the forums for the next week.

Stay strong.

We are all in this together.
