I started ibrutinib 3 weeks ago. I have a bloodclot at the base of an existing tooth. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thank you.

Hi I am on Ibruntinib but never had this problem. I would let your haematologist know. Bleeding and clots can be an issue with ibrutinib.

Good luck

Hello. What you might be referring to is a pyogenic hemangioma. Can you see it on the tissue?

It has now gone. I do what I do with all symptoms. I apply holistic thinking first. Usually things go away . I rested, did not chew on that tooth, rinsed with salt water two days. Now it is gone. Thank you for reply. Will look up that condition in case other such things occur. I also had those pin prick blood spots on legs, which a research clinition who is doing current trials for CLL treatments told me was internal bleeding. I waited, hoped it would not spread beyond legs and lower back. Took it easy, ate carefully, exercised...and in a week it disappeared. Usually I believe in the natural approach first, before I see a doctor. But had it spread or gotten worse, I would have seen the specialist. Also had pain in wrist, could not pick up anything. Waited, rested etc. and in 4 days went away. I am on the 3rd week of Ibrutinib and am 74. I still work, although not full time. I believe the drug routs out the damaged cells from various places in body, and goes through various cycles causing various symptoms, but it moves on to different stages.
