Question on Kidney Stones

I have kidney stones and was wondering if Imbruvica has anything to do with kidney stones? Have been on Imbruvicia for 3 years. Thanks

Hatbridges, it appears you got no replies to your question regarding Ibrutinib and kidney stones. Sorry about that.

I have not seen any indication of kidney stones being a side effect of Ibrutinib. There are cases of kidney failure reported, however, and there are several cancers that are known to be secondary to CLL--not to Ibrutinib that I know of.

We, of course, each have propensities to developing different diseases in our life-times and some of those can overlap with whatever stage we are in with CLL.

I hope you have talked with your CLL hemo/onco and seen to the kidney stone possibility--not sure you mean you definitely have stones or are thinking that is the case.

I does seem if it isn't one thing it is another with CLL---not because of necessarily, but while your are dealing with it.
