I’ve developed a bad ear infection last 24 hours. I’m starting my first treatment in 48 hours. I’m wondering if they would start When I’ve got this infection?

I was told unless you have a fever, you would get treated but that was after you had begun. Seeing as you haven’t started yet, maybe they’ll wait. 🤨

Luckily I see oncologist tommorro morning (day before BR starts). Thanks for reply Jeff.

Best of luck to you. I did 6 rounds of BR 4 years ago. I’m 11q and unmutated. It’s no fun this treatment but focus on your remission and feeling good afterwards.

Good Luck Estate 1. I am mid cycle between round 2 and 3 and feel great, better than how I felt before I started treatment and I felt ok then.

Afraid I can't answer your question about ear infection. Joy

I am on Ibrutinib and Venetoclax for 2 years now and when I developed a bad ear infection, my GP in consultation with my oncologist prescribed Cilamox (an antibiotic here in Australia) which did the trick in a few days.

I hope you find a suitable remedy

good luck

I am now in B+R treatment and undergo an exam day before or day of, each infusion treatment. I have only had one treatment delayed due to fever.

Is Imbruvica an options at this point in your area in Canada?

Clinical trials?
