Flu shot with lung congestion

I'm 10 years WW with unmutated, treatment looming with 192 WBC, enlarged spleen and 9.8 hemoglobin, also IVgs in the toilet. My question is about IVgs and flu shot, etc. I am concerned that the lung congestion is related to allergens, because the IG that normally handles that is low. I wonder how this will affect my response to the flu shot? I hope this makes sense. So glad to have a place to go with my questions, thanks all!

Its tricky...and best left to your CLL specialist when you find one... you have a whole bunch going on, so consult before the flu shot, would be my layman's approach.

In your posting last week you were searching for a new CLL expert in Ohio, Boston or New Orleans, and several good suggestions were offered. You may want to use the 2nd opinion route to "window shop" for a new CLL expert that is more caring and a better communicator than your current expert.

Your question about flu shots and autoimmune/allergy complications would be an excellent subject to test the candidates if their skills and style match your needs.
