New to this

My platelets have been lower for about 7 years. Last year 116 this year 97. Also lumps went up slightly from last year. I saw hematologist last year and he made no mention of platelets after blood tests just scanning my lymph system with due. I didnt like him as he was not very informative so I didnt do the scan. I am trying to decide what to do. Had anyone taken a natural approach?

I say this a lot here...you need a new doctor. I was Dx 16 months ago, my blood numbers are not bad....my Hematologist insists I see her every 3 months. I was on 3 month blood tests as well but when my numbers spiked in one month last winter she put me on every month blood tests.

I am not a big fan of whitecoats in general....but when I find a whitecoat who listens and seems concerned about me, well I keep them.

A lot of people think they can't change doctors...that is BS. My first Hematologist appointment after hearing Leukemia lasted 5 minutes and I told my GP I refuse to see that She-Ogre again....he was like fine, find one you like...my third one I like and have kept. She is great.

Before you do anything you need a definite diagnosis. You should go to your haematologist or another Dr and find out if there is anything wrong.
