Haemoglobin (rather than red blood cells) is a better measure of oxygen carrying capacity. What's your haemoglobin result? Platelets and neutrophils are the other counts of interest.

I can't understand how you can have a while blood count over 230 with a diagnosis of CLL and have lymphs in range. With CLL, you should be tracking the doubling time of your lymphocytes; the absolute count is not a trigger for starting treatment. If your white cell count is over 230, your lymphocyte count is probably over 225. We have other members with lymphocyte counts around that level who are still in watch and wait.

Sorry read it wrong Neil === lymphocyte == 202

Haemoglobin == 128

Monocytes ==2.3 and finally eosinophil == 2.4

Watch absolute neutrophils and platelets, also, but don't panic over one report. Numbers can bounce, and sometimes it is just a matter of lab error.
