Help with overheating
Hi Taztaz1981,
You haven't mentioned whether you have CLL and 35 is young for a CLL diagnosis. Temperature regulation is a common challenging symptom with CLL, so you might find some useful information by searching through this community, but it may not be relevant if you don't have a CLL diagnosis.

Aha! I have a course of action you may be able to explore: acupuncture. If and only if you have a really good practitioner available and (with luck) using insurance coverage. The heat of the body is one of the foundations on which your care will be built. I have problems with heat as well--if I'm not getting treatments. As I've said before, a first-rate practitioner will be able to help you with any fatigue you might be feeling, and with anxiety arising from out disease. There are no miracles and the people I see would never in a million years so much as offer to treat the cancer. Acupuncture can't cure cancer. But many of my symptoms have been lessened through regular treatments. And fortunately I have an insurer that promotes an integrated approach to health. (HealthPartners/Park Nicollet in Minnesota.)
Hi—I went through menopause a couple years ago and had very disruptive hot flashes. I am taking the generic versions of Wellbutrin XL 300 mg and Paxil 10 mg and it has almost eliminated the hot flashes. These are both anti-depressants but are also used to treat some menopausal symptoms.
From my past experience I would advise you visit a Chinese herbalist. Mine balanced hot/cold with “Nourish” from Evergreen Herbs and it made all the difference in the world. Balanced so much more physically than just hot/cold which of course balanced everything else. Didn’t cure my CLL but it made life so much easier.
I feel your heat!!! I have an "atypical phenotype" CLL and am on W&W with WBC hovering around 30 with an enlarged spleen. I sweat day and night, winter and summer and am told regularly by every shivering in the house that my temperature regulation is messed up!
Try acupuncture. It has really helped my overheating, especially the night sweats
