I would like to know what the next step is when Imbruvica stops working. Should I be looking for a donor match? Do they increase the dosage?

Hiya,

Are you asking about relapse whilst taking Ibrutinib?

The answer to this question depends on so many things - which country you are in, age, co-morbidities, FISH etc etc etc. More information should help

As Neil says the alternatives are increasing.

I asked my onc/hem the same question,. Is there a plan B. He said yes, and a C, D and E. So much is happening now!

Ditto here with what everyone is saying; hopefully is not just wishful thinking but my CLL Specialist made me feel quite optimistic, not only when he mentioned the alternatives but the confidence and "matter of fact" demeanor when he was speaking on the subject. Plus, in addition to that, I hope we can be on Ibrutinib long term, which will make list of alternatives even better!

So...keeping fingers crossed for all of us :-) !!
