HU Feature Update: You can now chronologically sort replies

Simone from HU has just advised "We have just released a filter that allows you to sort replies by oldest or newest.

It's a highly requested feature that has been on our to-do list for a while. Particularly relevant for large communities or communities that often receive >20 replies per post."

If you look under a post on the line starting with nn replies, you'll see 'oldest . newest' on the right.  The bold word indicates the current sort order and you can toggle between the oldest posts or newest posts first by selecting the relevant word.  I suspect this feature will be much appreciated by those using mobile devices with smaller screens and extremely useful for those looking for relevant responses in previous posts.

Photo: Sometimes its a bit hard to pick out what you are looking for when there's lots of choice, but there's no problem finding these alpacas in this flock of sheep.  The alpacas are excellent guard animals, always on the lookout for danger that could threaten the flock.

Indeed they were, Sue!  I was wondering if I would be able to get close enough to them, even with a zoom lens to capture more than hind legs galloping into the distance.  The earth banks you can see behind the alpacas are separating irrigation channels, as the paddock behind the sheep is used for growing lucern/alfalfa.

Glad they didn't run off. Where does the water come from for the irrigation channels, are you close to a river? Sorry so many questions.

Actually, the nearest creek (which only flows occasionally) is over 20km/16 miles away.  Irrigation water comes from a large underground aquifer which is a bit too salty for drinking water.  Water for irrigation is pumped by mains powered high volume bores and water for grazing animals like these sheep is provided by wind or solar powered pumping.  Most of the windmills have been replaced by solar panels in recent years - plenty of sunshine here and any mechanical problems are limited to the electric pumps.

You are so lucky regards the sunshine but I can imagine that can bring it's problems. We in the UK would just like a little.  I just find it so fascinating the difference but no difference really.
