I know this sounds against all principles but during a recent storm , when were using a generator to have electricity we cooked Salmon in the MICROWAVE for 2. 15 minutes (on a plate covered tightly with wax paper as the fish seem to let off some small explosions sometimes ) after the 2.15 min utes you can put on whatever spices you want as it is cooked, but try it plain and you will never go back to cooking it any other way... Dinner in less than 3 minutes and there is now way my wife can mess it up..fish 61

Here in California, we are lucky to have access to wild Alaskan salmon almost most of the time. I guess, farm raised and Atlantic salmon are out of the question.
