As far as CLL is concerned you must await diagnosis but even then with your counts being very low you should not worry too much! There are some very informative posts and information about cll on this forum and cll support association site together with patient power site. Take time to get to know more about the disease and this will give you more confidence to cope with the problems you face.
Good luck
Hi Mickym
What comes out of your message is mild copd, possible heart failure, and probable higher white blood count. I feel for you and understand the panic and fear you feel, but there are a lot of maybe's here. Apart from being scared, how do you feel? An WBC count of 15.4 is nothing to panic about, mine is 20 and only stage A CLL. Your heart is going to be monitored, so they are looking at this stage to see if there is a problem. You have lived with mild COPD since November.
Your biggest problem at the moment, seems to be the panic you feel, and I think we all understand on this site how such feelings can overwhelm you. You have my sympathy, but I hope you can take some slow deep breaths, calm yourself down and try to look objectively at your situation. Take the time to read the stories others here have shared and the responses to those who also suffered fear and panic after being given their diagnosis.
I wish you well and hope that by the time you read this your panic is already subsiding. Do let us know how you get on, so many sympathetic friends on this site.
