Informative reading for the newly diagnosed.

A few days ago, I was cleaning up and organising my Bookmarks, and among the sites I always keep was the primer page I've linked below. The site Webmaster, Editor and Publisher was Peter Venkat who sadly passed away in 2008. His work was carried on by Chaya his wife. Many will recognise her and will have read her letter of goodbye to all CLL’ers as she finally took leave from the site.

I’m sure that many of us here are grateful to this dedicated lady who has given so much of herself to provide information that has helped so many CLL patients understand our disease.

It occurred to me that there may be some who have not found this site, that when I was first ready to find out more about CLL, I found extremely helpful, and easy to read and understand.

The primer can be found at clltopics.org/Primer.htm

The site it is no longer being actively updated so some information regarding treatments and trials may no longer be up to date, however there is a lot of information on the site that is worth reading, and that those new to CLL should find helpful.

Got a 404 on the link provided, possibly due to the punctuation included here it is again clltopics.org/Primer.htm
