Hi Mo

I'm glad you are coping a bit better; time will help.

Of course it's good to eat healthily and you should, in my opinion do what you can to help yourself feel better generally but I don't believe there is any evidence, that food supplements/ super foods can alter the course of the disease.

All I have been told about wheatgrass, is that it doesn't taste very nice. Others here may know more. I can't remember if there have been previous discussions about this subject, on the forum but it might be worth checking through the archives.

In the meantime, look after yourself and enjoy what you eat!

Hugs

Hi Mo,

Wheatgrass, yes I have tried it in the last year. It does taste foul, I used to put it on cereal but can't see that it did any good. Nowadays I only take extra Vit D3 and something called Immunace which contains a lot of useful stuff like selenium, zinc, L-Cystine and much more.

I think 'super foods' are an expensive waste, I eat lots of cruciferous veg and fruit and I drink plenty of water. I eat organic when I can and preferably raw or very lightly cooked.

Problem nowadays is that farming is done on such an industrial scale that the soil is depleted of the essential nutrients that we used to get from our food.

Try wheatgrass, by all means, but how would you know if it is of any benefit to you? It would be difficult to prove that it had a beneficial effect.

Eat healthy, and exercise, put your money into good food and forget the 'fad foods' and supplements. Have your serum VitD3 and B12 levels, checked and follow your doctor's advice on raising them , if needed...
