My sons biluribun level came down from 7.5 to 2.4 . Before the surgery direct biluribun was 5.5 after 1 month it is 1.5 when can we consider it as a success. And kasai is done at4. 5 months old

I would ask your medical team for their opinion as it seems that everything has gone well since the Kasai procedure and if the symptoms have reduced that were present before the procedure then things are looking positive. However, it is always best to get this kind of information from your medical team as they will know what all the numbers show and be able to answer your question. Many thanks. Kasai surgery is generally done before 90 days of age. A level of 1.5 mg/dl after 1 month post surgery is a good sign.
